Shared CRM?

Post by Henk-Jan Scholman » 12 Jul 2017, 15:39

Do you guys use some sort of a Customer Relation Management tool?

I do.

Would it be an idea to have a cloudbased tool and share our network connections/relations? One might lead to an other?

Or is that too much of openess? Or do you already have more then enough customers, more then you can handle?

I wouldn't mind, because I know that most relations I have are too far away for most of you guys, but some might be close enough to deliver knowledge that I do not posses. Or have offices in other places near to where you might be.

This is not a bad idea, but it leads to some legal issues.
  • contact person has to be agreed to share his/her contact data (privacy)
  • we have to make sure the secure storage of such data (privacy policy)
Thus I recommend to consult a lawyer before starting of shared CRM.

Have a nice week end!

Good point. My guess is that sharing professional (CRM) information within a company amongst colleagues is not the same as sharing private information amongst public or commercial companies. But it is something that we need to figure out. It could be a good reason to formalise this community into a cooperation.
